Officially Graduated!
Well, my whole class has now graduated from primary school. Our graduation night was perfect! The dinner and desert provided by the Hall volunteers was absolutely DELICIOUS, the flowers and decorations looked marvelous, our photo boards and letters were funny interesting and cute, and the photo stories were really nice! The speech Bailey and I read as school captains went very nicely, funnily enough, at the end Ms Murnane stood up and admitted that she had a tear in her eye!
For the first time in the 18 year history of The Kerrin Peters award there were joint winners! My friend Georgia and I jointly won the award. We were both given a very nice book called “Dr Frankenstein’s Human Body book”. They are very nice books and have great information!
We all had a great night, and here are some photos from my camera…
Our Graduation
Right now we are in our last period doing blogging. Last period we walked up to the hall and set up for tonight, which is of course… our year 6 graduation. We hung up our photo boards, picked seating, hung up the memory posters, hung up our dear mum and dad letters, and also started hanging up the yearly school photos. We have to be at the hall by at least 6:50pm, to eat at 7pm sharp. When I get home I will shower, put on my dress, read the speech Bailey and I have to read as school captains and then leave. Mum is coming with me, and most other students are coming with their parents to.
The night will go like this:
- Dinner
- Presentations (Photostories, speeches, winner of Public Speaking Challenge announced, and the Keerin Peter award will be given to the winner.)
- Then at the end we collect our belongings and posters, then go home!
